The Voyage calls feel comforting. They are bi-weekly anchors in which we turn towards the topics that are important to the soul and to deepen the language of the soul. A space to sit with others and feel into what is alive in the world. 

The calls give time to listening to the body's knowledge through practical making and moulding. For this reason, I recommend undertaking the calls in a space with easy access to artistic materials. 

Voyage provides an oh so necessary space to witness our hearts, the hearts of others, and the beating, swirling universe around us.

Dear Azul, what attracted me to voyage was the questions “what is soul for me? What is the world of my longing?“

I could only reply from plagiarizing because I didn’t know anything about how to answer these questions but to copy from someone else. What has touched me is that I am moved to explore rites of passages that have been skipped over throughout my life.

The four sisters of the last forest inspired me to create four sisters amongst the medicine wheel in order to keep the children’s fire burning. The spirit animals of badger, fox, raven and dragonfly sit in Noble silence for us to arrive and feed the fire and to bring messages back to our community.

I am a steward of the land and steward to all its beings here and from the past/extinct ones. I am provoked to honor and alchemize past lineage contracts and patterns into beauty and gratitude

My experience of Voyage so far, and my sense making of that, is still perculating, awakening, hiding, feeling too tender. Too expansive/intangible to be reduced to words or take form yet. Im 'in alchemy'.

What I recognise is that the feeling of clay between my hands has fed me in ways Id lost connection with, that my felt understanding has deepened around facilitating my grief more intentionally and the necessity of its interdependence on/reciprocity with feeding my soul for healthy resilience and empowerment, and that I have Azul by my side as a trusted, honest, reflective channel and ally through which we can orientate, grow, allow, express and nurture ourselves. We are all travelling within Mystery together, and I am humbled.

I was also very moved by the way you call us into deeper presence: you said that you do not want to be a tourist anywhere, but an offering, a gift to the place you are in.

So much in that one sentence. And as much as I wholeheartedly agree, that truely felt also like a sobering wake up call to a part of me that can fall into slumber, also on this course.

So I thank you for the space you hold in this. The depth, the sobriety, your presence. The way you hold the space makes my shadows more visible to me. And in my better moments I can take responsibility for them.

And of course the shadow of our so called civilisation and mindset of exploitation, extraction and plunder. One of the things that stays with me is what you said about returning what we have stolen from the earth, returning it to her. In that call and simple action I can feel a whole other world possible- and humility as medicine, and feel the deep truth that giving always blesses the giver.

This course holds the space for this return to belonging and for me makes visible everything that is in the way of it.

living as an offering, not a consumer
Re-membering ourselves into the wider breathing of Earth

WHY passAGES?

We are a species that has forgotten how to be welcomed into the world, how to mature, how to belong, and how to serve Life.
passAGEs is a nine-month initiatory journey online
a rite of passage for the human soul in a time when our collective immaturity endangers all beings.

When we become slower, quieter, more porous, we reconnect with the sensorial intelligence of our bodies.
We begin to feel Life feeling us.
This is ensoulment , the remembrance that Earth is not “the Earth,” a named object outside of us but a living being we are in reciprocal relationship with.

Without that relationship, our culture breeds disconnection, consumption, and destruction.
We are robbed of belonging and of the possibility of becoming fully human.
passAGES restores what was lost.
It is a homecoming to soul through the reGeneration of Soul and Soil and therefore a belonging to Earth.

passAGES is the movement from an uninitiated species, as we can see, the most dangerous thing we can be towards becoming an initiated species that births elders who are in service to Life, to the land, to the peoples, and to all beings, our kin.

For already-engaged soul activists, creative visionaries, Earth Lovers and pathosophers who feel the calling to:

• Mature and reGenerate human soul on behalf of the Earth

Participation in all sessions is required,
including homecoming practices between teachings and the co-creating of a collective mycelium of support.

• 2 .5 hours each
• 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month in the afternoon of UCT+1— fixed dates announced upon enrolment

Three-Day Online Immersion - MAY
• Early May — Beltane season
• Deep ritual, ceremony & communal passage

Completion Day -One Day - OCTOBER
• Late October — witnessing passage, integration & celebration

2 × 1-hour personal mentoring sessions with Azul Thome
• Scheduled individually

Total 59 hours collective teaching
  • 2 hours personal soul-mentoring
