Is my soul asleep?
Have those beehives that labor
at night stopped? And the water-
wheel of thought,
is it dry, the cups empty,
wheeling, carrying only shadows?
No, my soul is not asleep,
It is awake, wide awake.
It neither sleeps nor dreams, but watches,
its clear eyes open,
far-off things, and listens
at the shores of the great silence.
Soul and Sanity ~ One on One sessions
Hello. I offer one~on~one soulful mentoring and grief composting counselling sessions in the SOULand Way
The SOULand Way means that the primary relationships are with our living world. My work will care for the repairing of your relationships and conversations with Grief, Love, Death and Life.
It is a weave of ancient earth wisdom, eARTh altar making, grief composting work, deep soul work and courage ~ based on 20 years of experience of counselling, rituals, ceremonies and facilitation.
I also hold a Person Centered counselling diploma.
What I offer is dynamic and deeply intuitive. It is informed by my own healing/wholing/integration journey and 20 years of practices engaged in heart and soul with our transmuting world.
My offering and Soul tending includes encouraging people to embark into the making of an eARTh shrine/altar. A hand made creation to access and foster a deep connection and communication with other than humans, alive and dead and to your ancestors…to widen and deepen your support system and listening landscape.
Before we embark on a journey together I will give 30 minutes free on Skype for us to meet, for you to ask any questions and feel into the work I offer. I am not a psychotherapist neither am I 'qualified' psychologist. I offer deep creative soul work informed by a tempering life and 20 years of deep personal and community work as a soul activist, ritualist, animist and artist.
Once we agree to work together we will agree on the number of sessions to start with to be reviewed at the end of the cycle. I might send you on soulful tasks like seat by a river, make an eARTh object or visit a particular tree or plant...
My hourly fee:
£68/hour for one2one SOULand guidance for women and men who feel that a creative, earth based and soulful way of being in relationship with grief, love, death and life is what is called for.
I offer mentoring/exploration/guidance in the fields of what feeds a starving and lost Soul. I also work on designing and activating rituals for individuals.
Once we agree that we want to work together i will ask for the agreed fee to be transferred before each session.
By TransferWise: firstname.lastname@example.org
I ask that you commit to a minimum of 4 sessions.
I can also co-create with you your own ritual to mark various passages, losses, arrivals, endings and new beginnings.
'Suicide, depression, descents, intense grief, numbness, trauma and shock are familiar ground that can be met kindly and courageously with welcoming, creativity, ritual and the feeding of Soul.'

I look forward to hearing from you!
Azul Valerie Thome possesses an extraordinary ability to give voice to those pieces of soul that have been marginalized in our modern frenzied culture. Her counsel is a form of re-membering where we recall what we instinctively know, but have forgotten. She helps reknit our lives back into the ongoing conversation with the green world, with air and water, light and color.
"I had the privilege to experience a weekend with Azul on a One2One basis. It went deeper than pure creation - it became a ceremony of welcoming back the artist in me, who I left behind too long ago.
Working with Azul has been an incredible and magical experience. At the beginning I had no idea that it was going to be such a powerful collaborative experience. The process of choosing three power animals which had significance and meaning in my life was just the start.
'Were it possible for us to see further than our knowledge reaches, and yet a little way beyond the outwork of our divining, perhaps we would endure our sadnesses with greater confidence than our joys. For they are the moments when something new has entered into us, something unknown; our feelings grow mute in shy perplexity, everything in us withdraws, a stillness comes, and the new, which no one knows, stands in the midst of it and is silent.'
Rainer Maria Rilke, August 1904 ~ Letters to a Young Poet
